  • (Not a 'T') Experimental Parrakeet Project

I am selling my experimental Rose/'Hannaford' Parrakeet project.

Look up Don Gilmore's cool site Parrakeet Aeroplanes to see what it could look like..

I would like to keep it as one package but will part out for right deal.

    FUSELAGE: $5k
Landing gear is on. (small clevlands, Shinns available), Complete set of tail feathers. Matco tail wheel (appears new). The welding on the fuselage, landing gear, and tail feathers looks very good. The wing fittings were welded by another party and may need to be reworked. Nice engine cowl, aluminum w/ fiberglass nose bowl.

    ENGINE: $4k
A-75 converted from Continental O-170-3 GPU at overhaul (Oct. 02) by addition of specified lubrication holes in connecting rods, installation of 75hp pistons. 100 octane valves, crank ground to 10/1000, new certified cam (A-65). All certified parts to be run as an A-75 engine. Was run for .5 hrs after overhaul. (have a nice legible xeroxed log entry sticker..) Well preserved, turns over. I have an induction system, a core carb and oil tank to throw in. No mags. May have one core Bendix.

    WING RIBS:$6k
Full set, beautiful work by some one who has built and rebuilt a lot of Parrakeet wings.

    MISC:
Two Shinn wheels, appear to be in good condition. $200
Like new prop hub, plates and nut $350

There are more parts and pieces that you may want to use, or not, that go with the project: Struts, engine mount, etc.

Hi Howard! You may want to give your location in Maryland and phone #. It would probably help in the sale. JC
