did you try shorter spark plugs FIRST? They worked on my champ with very close cowl clearance.

CAC plastics-Palmer Alaska-907-376-7111 sells the replacements. If the originals are like the ones on the F19 that I replaced, the rivets are almost on the edge so I had them make the flanges 1/8" wider and also thicker and beveled the edges. The first ones they sent were not very flat on the bottom but I called and they sent a really nice pair --much better than the originals.
