  • Anyone need Pre-war Aileron Cove?

after 68 years of service, my aileron cove is off to old airplane part heaven to be used only for templates. As soon as the material comes in on the barge, I'm making new aileron cove in 4-ft sections (and the tips).

Is anyone else interested in new aileron cove? As long as I'm making two wing's worth for myself, I can make more and ship it out, too!

I am interested. Do you believe that the wing structure on your BL65 and an "A" Model is similar. I am planning on replacing the spars in both wings of
an "A" but I still have not gathered tech info on the wing structure. Is this data available. I am in the process of making the rib jig. Any tips you would be willing to share would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Bob
