im looking at purchasing some kind of taildragger----t-craft/cub/champ i was told the l-2 has a "tight' rear seat any words of wisdom

I think you mean L-2 ; or really the DCO-65 or Model D Taylorcraft.
I have a wide seat ( on me) as other members seem to have noticied lately . You will find the ship is really larger than the J-3 or Champ. Try one you will like it!!! bye Forrest

I have one for sale that has a wider rear seat and is very comfortable. You can find it on Barnstormers and also this website. Thanks.
