    Re: Propeller needed

Sensenich is coming out with a ground adjustable composite prop at Sun N Fun this year. It is for the little continentals. It is easilly adjustable with only a hex wrench. I plan to try one out- it is for experimentals only so I'll have to stick to the clipwing. It would be really nice to dial it to a high pitch for going somewhere then turn it way back if needed for acro. The Tcraft is such a clean little airframe it would really benefit. I asked them if they had plans to make something similar to the aeromatic- they said not unless LSA rules change and allows in flight adjustable props. Price is expected to be in the $1200 range.

Flying is easy- to go up you pull back, to go down you pull back a little farther.

I considered putting a Beech-Rowby on my Crispy but didn't want the extra hassle that it would take to do so. Plus it was one of those ideas you have after a few beers.

Not to mention the weight penalty.... but they really look cool! I've always wanted to find on of the single bladed Everell props...thought that would raise a few eyebrows when you taxi up and shut down!

I saw the ground adjustable composite prop at Sebring. It is a neat design. The cast aluminum hub can be loosened with a hex wrench. A small dial can be rotated to change the pitch of both blades in synch. Then tightened and away you go.

I found the information sheet about the ground adjustable prop on the company's web site. Click here.

              Hello Jerry,
I have your old T-craft setting in my hanger at the moment...pretty nice old bird considering the age of the fabric and overhaul. It looks as if you done a nice job keeping it up over the years.
