  • Need Help moving a T-craft Project

    Just in case someone out there might be traveling from or through Minniapolis,Mn and will be going through or near kentucky and would like some help with there holiday travel expenses in exchange for hauling a taylorcraft project to me or close to my area.It would certinly help me out. I paid a fellow a large sum of money to pick up this project and a Pietenpol project. He got the Pietenpol but not the taylorcraft and now he is telling me it will cost me another $1000 for him to get the t-craft.The original deal we made was $3000 for him to get both at once. I then had to send him an extra $500 just to pay for problems he had along the way and now he has left me high and dry with only one airplane delivered ! YOU MIGHT SAY I GOT ROYALLY!!!!

      It really is a nice bird,well worth what I paid for it but not near worth what it cost me when I add in the delivery cost,lol. It needs a little minor TLC(mostly just a close inspection and one cross brace cable replaced)and an engine hung on her and she's ready to fly.

        Kev;
        There is a Jolly Old Elf from the North Pole about to make that trip. Perhaps you could ask him for a T-Craft for Christmas. Happy Holidays to you and your family. Good luck (which means better luck than you've had on this adventure) and I hope to see you in the New Year!

          Thanks Ed. Do ya really think Santa will have room for it in his sleigh?

            Kev;
            Quick math -- What just my Grandkids are expecting from Santa balanced against an 850 lb. T-Craft = The Taylorcraft's extra weight to Santa is incidental and will cause less loss in climb than you with a Coke Can between your knees in a 65hp-BC. (12 ounce can, half full, on a standard day at sea level. For complete FAA approved figures see Santa's Sliegh POH.

            NO PROBLEM! All the best; ED O
