  • farm/ranch/acreage/strip

    Have decided to relocate.
Need home, hanger and acreage on one piece of farm or ranch with strip.
Would anyone have something within reason?

    Prefer Western US.

    Home,hanger,&land

    Yellow,
I would consider splitting my property with the right person.I am starting to build a house, the important stuff like runway and pond are already complete.300 acres+/- a few.I don't want to start lotting it out for anyone that wants to build a house.Plenty of room for 2 of us though and several nice house sites to choose from where you are completly alone and out of veiw from anyone else.
The bad part is that I'm in eastern Kentucky and your looking out west. The seasons are great though, you get an equal amount of spring, summer, fall, and winter. The winter temps rarely ever get colder than the mid to low 20's.About once ever 5-8 years we get a 2' snow fall and below zero temps, most winters are average a foot or less of total snow fall all winter and average temps in the 30's.The spring and fall are great for farm pond fishing or just going flying. The only time we see wind over 30mph is during the occaional spring thunderstorm. The summers average temps in the low to mid 90's with the occasional 100 degree heat wave and it can get pretty hazy sometimes but the haze comes and goes in the summer. It is really the best of the four seasons in my opinion and none of it gets very bad.
It's really a nice place to live, the town is small and the people are nosey. If you suffer from allergies or hay fever then the spring blooms came be a little hard on the sniffer .
All and all,it's a pretty nice place to live and if you want to escape on vacation once in a while then any change of pace during any season is not very far away.4 hours south in a t-craft will put you in northern Florida,4 hours north will put you in Canada,4 hours west will put you well into the great plains states, and 4 hours east....well you might be shark bait in the Atlantic Ocean because you probably won't have enough gas to get back to the coast (2 hours will put you over the east coast).

Kevin, Sounds great! Tho, I still prefer the Weastern part of the USA. Will keep this in mind. I do not want to be over run with boxed windows in every direction anymore. It's the country for me.
And I can and shall respect your insight and offer.
      T-crafters are the best.

Me too,I dont' ever want to see my neigbor again unless I go knock on his door or vise versa no matter how great they may be.
It would be nice to have another T-craft in the hanger to keep Crispy Critter company on my 2200' grass strip(with room later to get as much as 4000+/-).Anywhere you could think of building on the oppiste side of the runway from me would be completly out of sight from me or anyone else in the county and some really nice veiws out over the river valley.
