  • jury strut wing attachment

I need one jury strut wing attachment - the piece that is threaded into the wing with two "wings" that bolt to the jury strut. Its for a '46 BC12D. Anybody have one to sell or can direct me to one? Thanks, Bob Waters

      Bob,
I went out a looked while I had it fresh on the brain and found one.It has some very light pitting in it after I cleaned it up but should be ok.

Kevin - Thanks a million. I'm not in a rush. We still have to cover her. My address is 816 Valverde Dr SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. I'm originally from Huntington, WV - not too far from West Liberty. That's where I got the plane last summer. Please tell me what you'd like for it and an address and I'll get you a check. Bob

Thanks Kevin. I really appreciate it. My partner and I brought N96924 back last July. We bought a 16' flatbed trailer in Grayson just for the trip. It was the cheapest way we found and now we have a good trailor. Two days from Albuquerque to Huntington and two days back with one day in-between for loading and visiting.

We bought the plane as a restoration project from my dad, who's based at Lawrence County (Ohio). He bought it from a friend who had already bead blasted and primed the fuselage. My dad's "partner", who was going to put sweat equity into the restoration, never did. Now we're doing it. What a great project. They laughed at Lawrence Co. (elev 560 ft)) that we would have a lot of fun taxiing around the airport pulled by our C-65 here in ABQ (elev. 5600 ft). I have a friend who flew gliders in Phoenix who told me that a T-craft used to join their formation, shut off its engine and soar with them!

The fabric and chemicals arrived from Jim and Dondi Miller today! Now we need one good rear lift strut, a good prop, fingers crossed on the engine compression, and fabric job!

The hills of the Hatfields and McCoys really do keep a lot of good secrets!

                Bob
