  • Helping Pa find a plane

    Hello All:

Any help would be appreciated. My pa wants a taylorcraft. He is looking to purchase a plane that is currently located in AK, WA, OR, ID or has an owner who might be willing to deliver it to AK. It needs to be in the Sport category and in good working condition. He would prefer a plane that had floats and wheels.

Any suggestions on how to find these planes would be so helpful. I have tried the web and tried to drive by small airfields here in the Seattle area. No luck. I tried to find a site that showed planes for sale in Fairbanks or Anchorage Alaska and didn't have any luck either.

Call me at 425-417-1972 or email me at gicheney@ureach. com with any suggestions you might have. My dad wants to fly this summer!

Yer Pa sounds like a smart guy!

You can do a search like that on eBay. Go to the "eBay Motors", Aircraft section and click on "Advanced Search". You can then specify "Taylorcraft" and under "Location" specify "within 500 miles of Seattle" or whatever. Then eBay will send you an email when an item like that comes up.

    Good luck on your search.
