I have a 1958 Cessna 172 but the engine, structure, and mechanicals on it are perfect, it needs some cosmetic TLC. Very nice straight tail 172 for the money....it does need paint.

I work at Flight School in St. Paul and our Mechanic just tore down one of th schools old N models -I think it's a '75, though I'm not sure off the top of my head. Right now it's gutted, in pieces, and in the process of getting stripped for paint (everythings naked but the fuselage right now). I believe the plan is to sell it with a overhauled engine (from Buldoc -Not sure?) and avionics stack. I just saw a brand new set of red interior sitting next to it the other day as well. You might be able to buy it as is, or complete (again, Not Sure). I know the Mechanic well and his work is very thorough.

-Upon Completion will be a complete rebuild
        -Comes w/ buldoc overhauled

Yes that would be cool... but what i have is a o-320 160 hp lycoming with 920 hours on it. I want a 172 that is run out or does not have an engine. If you see something like this let me know.
