Some parts found in a bag. Are they Taylorcraft pedals? Offer?
Carl, yes they are Taylorcraft brake pedals. The pulleys
with brackets are bolt-on brake cable pulleys (suitable for a right-hand brake
installation). The red clips are fuel shut-off guards. Rob
This is made from fiberglass. Probably from the vacuum formed bump that I lent to Jason. It's pretty soft (thin) but would suffice to make a mold. Offer?
The clamping arrangement certainly is the same as on the tie-down clamp, so I'd venture to say whatever it is, it clamps to a strut.
It's worth a good beer on a hot day in Alliance, OH to bet those are supports for something to hold the door open. - Mike (as usual, speaking from ignorance (Hey, I'm from DC! It's something in the water!))

They're kind of big for door stops/holds and those flanges on the end have holes for bolts or more likely screws, since they pretty small.
The best door hold I've seen came from the The Dollar Store. It's a flat metal hook arrangement designed to go over a door top. The part that goes over the door is squarish and the hook part is rubber coated and is for clothes. For aircraft use, the squarish part slips into the edge of the door and the rubber coated hook part captures the strut.

Oh, that's neat - that's reason enough to get another Tcraft! - Mike

Mike - you were right. I took the parts out to the airport today and tried them on a Taylorcraft strut. They definitely seemed to fit the purpose.
Taylorcraft - There is no substitute!
