Wanted: Price for L 0145 Cylinder Head

I am currently operating a BL-65 with a O-145-B2 engine and am purchasing a #3 Cylinder head from a contact of mine who doesn't know how much it is worth. What price should I suggest I pay him. I'd like to give him a fair price so we both benifit from the deal.

Any suggestions?

With these engine parts getting harder to find, it depends on how much you want to pay or how long you want to look. Sometimes the Lycs go for very little $. My suggestion would be to tell your contact to add 20% to what he paid for it. If he's a good old airplane guy he'll take less............
