    Tribe.

Regretfully I have decided to sell N39991. Economic and health issues are the reasons. So, if you know of someone looking for a plane that is a great performer in very good shape, please pass this information along. Thanks.

    1946 Taylorcraft BC-12 D.
    Restored in 2005.
Continental C85-12f with 0-200 crank with 200 Hrs
    Straight Luscombe 8E dual exhausts
    New Slick Mags and harness
    New spark plugs
New Marvel-Schlobler Carburator with Mixture control
All new hoses and fuel lines
New shimm brakes (that works !!)
    Freshly rebuilt Maule pneumatic tailwheel
    Always hangared since restoration
    Fabric is good shape
Always kept in Annual by reputable aircraft shop
All logs and records from day one in three ring binders with plastic covers
A great performer and reliable plane.
Will hurt to her fly away...:-(
    Price: $ 28,000
Will go on Bstormers once I get some pictures & the weather breaks
    Thanks

      Shephers:

Kept the plane LSA.. did not do the gross weigth increase when we installed the engine, but is doable.

      thanks

Is it still certified or now Experimental with that engine?
I don't think that engine would be legal, Am I wrong?

Perhaps the OP has one of these STC's that allow the C-85 installation and then convert the C-85 to 200ci displacement:

Pretty common STC'd procedure for an 85. I guess they pull really nice. Basically makes a "stroker" 85. Hope I have the $$ to do it to mine when it goes back together.

It does make a difference. Mine pulled the same Sen M76AK-2-40 115 rpm higher static than the fresh C-90-8 I had in an earlier plane. Use this Cont SB if desired to install a C-90 cam and lifter bodies. See the bottom of the SB for the 1960 Revision.
