  • Time to turn the page!

Hi guys! Great to see a lot of you guys still on the forum. Boy I sure miss flying the '38 & skydiving, scuba, motorcycles, hunting, walking/standing over 20 minutes a day. Any way not your problem. I'm selling more things I can't use so I wanted to mention it first to my old friends here before elsewhere. I have the Taylorcoupe project a later Tcraft now in the homebuilt experimental class with a fresh Lyc 0-320 160HP mounted, metal prop, everything new on the fuselage, interior, headliner, real NOS Scott Tundra tailwheel (worth $2k alone) hyd heel brakes, all gauges, panel all new, patroller doors, Cole & Swick mods done, 2 new 40 gallon wing tanks, a new 27 gal baggage comp aux tank, so you can fly to England, needs the wings rebuilt, I also have a set of wing ribs for a clipwing, also a set of amfib kevlar floats & don't forget it's experimental so it's going to be a 2 place rocket ship & not many hours left to finish. It has current registration. $25k firm for all above.
Also have about a dozen Lyc )145s from running great to torn down for parts & 2 complete machine shops full of manual machines small to very large, welders, fork lifts, 6000# truck crane, HD 22' overdeck trailer just rebuilt 20,000 gross weight, a Contenential C90 GPU fresh rebuilt by an aircraft shop & much much more. Also a runway lot on a paved year round airport in Lakes of the North resort near Gaylord MI about 50 miles south of the Mackinac Bridge. Best lot on the airport as we had planned to build a home & hanger. Sold 2 hangers tonight, the Bonanza last month, the hunting camp 3 months ago, etc. I thought my kids wanted to fly but I waited enough. Still have the hanger & 2 airstrips on the farm & 2 step in ultralights & a PPC. Call anytime 269-423-8539 Hope all is well with all my old friends! Thanks! Eric

PS You guys do look a bit older LOL!

Hate to but I might part it out, have to think about that. If not I'll advertise it as the "HUSKY KILLER" Own the ultimate amfib or on wheels as it is now, one of a kind Home Built Experimental Rocket for the price of a decent Cessna 150. Merry Christmas all!

Eric do you have an extra set off steps by any chance? I also have a 38 Taylor Young, N21209 ser# 621. It has a 1 time STC with a A65 and a gross weight increase to 1280# with other 337s done at the same time. Interesting project but after having 5 BC12D,s this is sure different.
Hope things are improving for you. Sounds like some serious stuff going on.
      Take care.

          Carlton,

There was a set of steps, (left and right), for $50 on a Facebook page for antique aircraft parts. Not sure if they are still available. Do you want me to check?
          Cheers,
          Marty

Yes Marty, if you don't mind that would be great. I am not on Facebook and I don't think I want to be either. $50.00 works for me though. Can you get whatever contact info I need to get in touch with the seller that would be great!
            Thanks for your help.
