  • Model 15A for sale

    undefinedundefinedundefined

I am selling my Model 15A, SN 514010. My private airport has been a casulty of urban sprawl, and since I no longer have a medical, it is hard to justify the cost of hangaring elsewhere.

This aircraft was restored in 1999 by an AI. It has a total of 729 hours on the airframe, having been restored at 597 hours. It has always been hangared since the restoration. The engine is an 0-300-C with 2236 total hours and 1220 hrs SMOH. It runs great and has very little oil useage.

The aircraft suffered a collision with a car on takeoff and stored for several years before I purchased and restored it. It is a great flying plane and very rare, one of about 6 or 7 flying. It is a beautiful plane, but not a show plane. It was the 15A featured in the Mr.Taylor's Planes display at Oshkosh in 1999 or 2000, and has been at Oshkosh every year since 1999 except last year.

It is equipped with a Bendix-King KLX 135A GPS COM radio.

I am asking $49,000. If interested either e-mail at [email protected], or call 515-964-0093.

I have digital photos. Please ask for them via e-mail, I can't get them to upload on this site.
