Can you describe what a "throttle assembly" means to you?

It conjures up many images to me from controls to carburetor parts.

What I need is the control from the cockpit to the carb. Push-pull cable, friction lock, housing, knob, etc.

Tim Popp knew a place where you could buy new ones. It was a well known dealer.

I found the name => Mcfarlane

I probably have one or two, a new one may be better.

Look at the very bottom of this thread as well as use the search box. There is a great deal of info posted on this including part numbers of replacements, etc.

Originals are very hard to come by unless someone wants to let one go. The originals are Shakespeare, use that as a search word and you will come up with additional info. Good luck!

If you are looking for a BL 65 1940, Taylorcraft throttle cable assembly, I have one, its used but I think it is serviceable. Pay for shipping its yours Ken
