  • Glastar Kit for sale or trade

The Aviation Cadet Museum, Inc. owns a Glastar kit. It is about 75% complete. There are about $60,000 worth of parts. Everything from the firewall rearward, except the engine cowling which comes with it. We are going to be teaching those who are interested, and will buy, the construction of WWI aircraft kits from Robert Blaisley near KC MO. We will then teach those who do not know how to fly, to do so but all will need to be checked out in a tail dragger as the first time up in the biplanes is just you and God! We will then use these pilots and aircraft to do a WWI melodrama air show like the one at Reinbeck NY. We would like an L-2, L-16 or perhaps a BCC. The least we will take for the kit is $25,000. We are also a 501-(c)(3) not-for-profit corp. and any donations are tax deductible. I will try to put some photos on this site, but if it doesn't work out there are some on Barnstormer.com

Dawn Patrol kits look like a lot of fun, wouldn't mind building one myself.
