What's your plan when you sell it? Got something else in mind

I bought a wrecked PA-18-150, that I'm in the process of rebuilding. Don't really know why I decided to do that, but I did. Come get the T-Craft before I change my mind and keep it!

Would you sell it without the floats?

Done deal. N36007 is mine wheels, skis, and floats. Lifetime struts and VG's installed, and the engine's in an Alaskan overhaul shop for C-85 - 0200 stroker conversion and MOH. This is the second 1941 Taylorcraft I've owned in the last 40 years. The first (N29694) also had the airframe upgrades and C-85 engine STC W/O the stroker crank but with a Mac 75-38 prop on W/S/F. It also had Arctic Tern extended wings and engine cowling, and seaplane doors.

Thank you John for the encouragement. It's been almost 40 years since the last T-Craft took me aloft, and I've owned and flown many others since. Beavers, C-185's, 172's, Maules, Super Cubs, PA-12, Citabrias, Scouts, PA-11 (my last plane), and some I've gladly forgotten. But for some reason I kept coming back via Chet Peek's book and my memories to the Taylorcraft. Maybe the dream is more important than the reality when it comes to planes.

Today it would be almost financially and legally impossible to duplicate N36007. At $110+ per shop hour, cost of materials and the skills to apply them, availability of parts, FAA restrictions on Field Approvals, and time to make it to all happen now makes buying the product logical versus doing it from scratch.

We'll see if this is truly the wave to shore I've been searching for all these years.
