My '46 BC12-D 65HP is in need of a little TLC. I just posted about needing the tail feathers recovered, I will list the other laundry list items below.
After about 4 years of being grounded due to hail storm damage to the tail covering (hangared, but no door), I have set a goal to be back in the air this Spring. I see two options. Get the T-craft flying again, or sell it as is and buy something else.
I am considering a four place such as a Stinson, as it would be nice to take the family with me when I fly. I am also considering an 85 HP Champ. This is what I learned to fly in, and have always wanted to own a Champ.
So I am curious if anyone has any input as to what I may be looking at as far as value.

Overall, she has always been a good bird, not a show peice, but overall in decent condition. New Tires. Bungies replaced last annual.
So I am going to keep working on it until I make up my mind on what direction I want to go, but any input on value as a trade, or for sale would be appreciated.

- Oil Temp Probe broke
- Left Mag has an "miss" that rears it ugly head after a rain or high humidity, then goes away.
- Tail Feathers need recovered (also a patch is needed on the fusealage just forward of the horizontal stab)
- Shinn Brakes probably need re-lined soon, but some adjustment may be available
- Struts need re-tested (but passed with flying colors last time)
- Wing Tanks unusable
