Last night, after reading the two current threads that could involve machine work, I did some web searching about machine shops. I found the following link that looks interesting and could solve possible needs for those that don't have easy access to a machine shop.
This seems to fit right into the concept of "Owner Produced Parts". The owner designs the part on their CAD software, they make the part, send it out, and the A & P installs it. At least that's how I think OPP works, although I'm thinking that creative writing skills might be the most important.
Disclaimer: I have looked no further than the homepage of emachineshop. I have never used them, communicated with them, seen the quality of their work, or even checked their prices.
