Wanted: a pair of yokes (wheels) for a '46 BC 12D. The deluxe would be nice but standard ones are OK. The mounting hole looks like 3/4inches. I also want printed flying service or parts information other than the commonly available service booklet. Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Re: Yokes

    Brian,

I have a set of cast yokes that would have been on a '46, not pretzels though. They would be available for sale.

I just posted on here where you can get larger 'schematics' of the plane that may help. I will see if I can find that info.
    Cheers,
    Marty

I believe it was Essco. They are large and easy to read. Link: http://www.esscoaircraft.com/p-6048-...chematics.aspx

        Dear Marty,
Thanks for the source of the booklets, I just ordered them. I am not sure I know what you mean by a "pretzel" yokes? I have seen pics of the deluxe ones with the wire spokes and sketches of the plain ones. If you could tell me this and prices I will reply ASAP.
Thank you very much. I also have an old L2-A(currently not flying but it is getting there).
        Cheers,
        Brian

          Brian,

You won't easily find the Deluxe yokes, they are made of unobtainium now. This link will show you my pretzel yokes. I will find another link showing what all of them look like. Use the search box in the upper right, it is amazing what you will find on here. Link: http://vb.taylorcraft.org/showthread...=pretzel+yokes

I still have a couple of L-2 spare parts I accumulated left for sale from when I owned one.

In this thread you will find what the yokes look like. I have a set of the cast ones available for sale. Link: http://vb.taylorcraft.org/showthread...672-Need-Yokes

The set I have look like the ones in the left rear of the set of three. However, mine has a plastic attachment on the front that says 'Taylorcraft'. I believe they are later model.

Also, just a tip, after your post you can look at the bottom of the thread and see a box that states 'Similar Threads'. You can look through those without having to do a further search, though you will find a lot more threads for your subject if you just use the Search box.
