  • Airspeed indicator needed

My BC12D has an AI that goes to 300 MPH; I've never been able to get my airplane to go that fast, so I need another one. Mine works well, except that the area around 60 MPH that I usually see on landing is compressed considerably.

So I'm in the market for an appropriate AI for the Taylorcraft, preferably a good used one.

I might be interested in that Chuck if he does not want it. Thanks!

I installed the AI I got from a fellow Forum member and test flew with it late yesterday. Sure is nice to have my flying speed range spread out over most of the meter. On the other one (40 - 300 MPH) my area of interest took up only 1/3 of the total range of the meter.

I will try to sell the other one; manufactured by United States Gauge Company; old but in good condition. Worked fine in the T'craft except for inappropriate speed range.
