Re: Wanted - Shinn Brake Shoes
Though I have never personally dealt with sky bound, I have read of similar problems on here. They seem to have problems with the brake shoes.Cheers,
Marty

Re: Wanted - Shinn Brake Shoes
I had issues with skybound. I tried for 4 months trying to get parts from them that they claimed were in stock. I would order and they would never send. Call few weeks later and repeat the process. Did that about six times. Finally got my parts through Doug Combs at Lusombe. I will say that Skybound never did charge me. It was almost as if I was never calling them.Ryan Newell

Re: Wanted - Shinn Brake Shoes
I appreciate the feedback. My purpose for the post is to find some Shinn shoes. I don't want to get off topic and discuss Skybound. Just looking for some shoes. Anybody out there gotten rebuilt shoes from Classic Aero? Appreciate the help.

Re: Wanted - Shinn Brake Shoes
Cancel my request for Shinn brake shoes (I never got a response anyway). Skybound, indeed, corrected the issues I was having with the first set of rebuilt shoes they did for me. They reported that they got new steel and fabricated a new fixture to make them according to factory specs. I received the replacement set and they fit fine. For me, Skybound has always been timely in their response.1940 BC-65 NC26636
