  • Bungee cover hardware

    Hello folks,

Wondering (before I go bending metal) if anyone has a set of the steel mounting brackets for the bungee covers? They are the brackets that secure the covers to the strut. Thanks!

    Hello Claudius,
Sorry I dont.. but will ask around. I have seen your posts here before and noticed you're in Ardmore. Is your L-2M flyable? There are several L-2's in Texas. Have you heard about the Taylorcraft fly-in coming up on March 30-31? Check here for more information. Hope you can make it.

      Re: Bungee cover hardware

      Hi Terry,

I had no idea about the event. Thanks for telling me--I will seriously consider it.

Yes, my L-2M is currently flying. I am in the process of fabricating the bungee covers and will need to put some paint on areas of the cowl, but otherwise is in decent shape. I have the 65 on it, but I do believe I have a certain name in the logs with an STC for an 85hp! Someday I will put new fabric on her and when I do I hope to add the spoilers.

We will be having a fly-in at Paul's Valley OK (KPVJ) in May. Stay tuned!

Thanks for the help and the info!
