    Re: New L-2 project

    Greg,

I had an L-2B at one time and started collecting 'spares' as I went so I have some parts, including a couple of wing tanks and header tanks and other stuff. Let me know, I would like this stuff to go to a good home.
    Cheers,
    Marty

We have three L-2's at Cannon Field (53T) on the south side of San Antonio. I think that there are actually TWO at San Geronimo as well.

            Re: New L-2 project

I had an exciting find today while moving my pile of parts off the hangar floor and onto shelves... I found my data plates. Because I bought this from an estate I had been somewhat concerned they had been removed and lost. Big sigh of relief! Both the Taylorcraft and US Army Air Corps dataplates were on some sidewall covering. They are corroded but original. Any suggestions on cleaning them or is it best to just leave them alone?
