Looking for L2

Hello,
I am new to this forum. I have always loved the L2 and would like to purchase one either flying, or a project that is half-way there. I live in New Jersey, so I need to get one fairly close. I am an A&P/IA so I am somewhat familiar, but I am a novice with the L2. Any help that I can get would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Forest. I was up in Long Island at Bayview airport about a month ago and saw a nice L2 project that was just purchased by a group of guys, that were finishing it. When I saw it, it rekindled my desire for one.

I might have what you are looking for. I own a L-2 project (in work - I am an A&P). I'm about a half hour off of Interstate 95 in Connecticut. My plane is FAA registered but has no current Certificate of Airworthiness. Do you have a private e-mail or another way to contact each other? The L-2 is solid. It just needs a good going through. Thanks.
