Need advice about the L2M's

Hey all you L2 guys. As most of you know I've owned and restored a few BC model taylorcrafts but now I'm thinking about buying an L2M in ferriable condition but in need of a ground up restore. The spoilers have been removed,covered over,or something???? How hard is it to reinstall the spoilers. Also is there anything special I need to look for that would be different from the BC12's. I have never worked on or flown an L2 so this will be something new to my t-craft brain. Any words of wisdom will be very helpful.

Kevin,
If the spoiler parts have been removed it is just a matter of re-installation. Most of the L2,s have a hodge podge of parts installed. Make sure the fuselage has the mounts for the spoiler lever and pulleys. The fuel tanks will also need a hole for the spoiler rod to travel through.
The trim tab should have a counterweight installed for a L2M installation.
I,m sure there are many people that can give you some more tips.
