  • N58075 is Back in The Air

Well, we finally finished the repairs and test flew my L2M this morning (75 degress, zero wind). IT WAS GREAT!!!!

The only problem was that the left wing was slightly heavy, so I will readjust it this afternoon. The new struts from Univair fit great. The are much larger in "circumference" if you will, so I had to make new strap clamps for the jury struts and the tie down rings, but they weren't nearly as hard to fab as I thought they might be.

The repitched prop (7148) added between 8 and 10 mph so it was well worth it.

Bottom line, I couldn't be happier. Thanks to all who offered advice throughout to ordeal.

    Howdy Nick,

Congrats! I know that it's a long haul but once it's off the ground you can now start on those pesky little things!!!!!
