    Since you've got the CD, look in the registration.PDF for the Bill of Sale from the surplus sale, probably from the Reconstruction Finance Corporation. It was the last/oldest doc in my PDF. What mine called the Identification No is the Bureau (Bu) Number and will be needed to find the military records. It will look like contract year dash sequence number. My YO-57 is 42-452. As an M, yours will be 43 or 44-9999.

      L5713 is USAAF 43-26401. Accepted by the military on 11-26-43. Assigned to Civil Air Patrol, Denver on 12-16-43.
