I used a fine wire upholstery stapler. I don't have it handy but I think it was this one. https://www.nailgundepot.com/senco-s...pler-316-to-58 One of the tips I got was to grind off the nose plunger so the staple does not crush the wood at whatever air pressure you use. Here's some pics of the gun, modified nose and test staples while I adjusted it. Also one of gussets stapled to the ribs I made for my L-2. I used the shortest SS staples I could find since I was going thru 1/32" gusset into 1/4" cap strips. I bought both gun and staples from Nail Gun Depot.I used SS since I left the staples in place. Some people remove them but it seemed like too much work and risk digging them out.
