Don't know how much help this will be, I was not able to locate any drawings of the rear wood cowl, I have D-A146 and 148 but no 147, the only reference I can find to this cowl was in the parts list, my L2M does not have this large cowl but two smaller plywood fillets on each side for the fabric to wrap around ( drawing D-1314 ) these are around 1/32" thick, I can send you pix of the drawing and my L2 if this will help.

Is this the part you're looking for? It goes right behind the metal boot cowl. If so, I can get more detailed pics or take measurements. The guy that built it was using the CD's so he either found all the drawings or vamped.

I think it's 1/8" or maybe 3/32". I'll measure it when I can get to the hangar.

Boy, did I remember wrong. It's a lot thinner than I thought - slightly over 1/16". I guess I had a CRS flare-up. That's happening more often these days;-) My calibrated eyeball would call it 5/64" using a scale marked in 1/32". Didn't have my calipers with me. I don't know if that is a standard plywood thickness (maybe metric) or just thick varnish on the edge of 1/16". The doublers in the corners looked to be 1/16" also.
