Found some 1940's paperwork and a logbook for the above L-2. If anyone knows of it's current whereabouts, I think the paperwork should return to it's airframe. Looks like it fell off FAA records some time ago.

Maybe if someone wants to order the FAA CD it may shed some light on a last owner. Since it is not showing at all on the FAA registration website it must have fallen off quite some time ago.Cheers,

You might try contacting the registration folks in OKC. At SnF I asked them about my old T-craft which had disappeared from the public viewable registry. They have the ability to look it up at the office but she just had me fill out a request for a CD which were free at SnF. On the CD I found a letter from the owner in 1986 to deregister it since it was destroyed during TS Alicia. If you tell them you want to return the logs I bet they'll look it up or comp the CD.Regards,
