  • Trim phenolic pulley replacement

Does anyone know of a source for the replacement of the phenolic pulley from the elevator trim mechanism? The one on mine is eccentric (the mounting hole is not in the center of the pulley). It must be a replacement as I can't imagine the original having this problem. It was the cause of the trim mechanism feeling like it had a compression stroke as the handle was turned.

Also, the pulley is just pressed onto the shaft without a key or anything to lock it into place. There is a nut, but the nut doesn't compress the pulley in any way. I'm afraid that the pulley might slip on the shaft. Is this normal?

Is this the one overhead with the crank? Forrest used to have some of these NOS.

I made some a while back. I'll look around and see if I have one left.
