  • air filter fairing

I am going to install an air filter/carb heat box on my plane so I am looking for the fairing that screws on to the cowling over the filter assembly. Is anyone making new ones or is the an old one I can use for a pattern?

    Filter fairing

    Jason,
I just bought a new one from Timothy Wood.He makes them himself and does a pretty nice job.I think he charged me $70 or 80 dollars for mine and it is made so you can fit it to any t-craft cowl.
    His numbers are as follows,
    (314)781-9189 or
    (314)541-0540
He is a little hard to catch up with so keep trying if you can't get him right away.

Also,to all you guys looking for boot cowls, gear fairings, strut cuff fairings, wing root fairings, lower&top cowls, nose bowls,etc.etc. He can make them as well or he can refurbish your old one to look like new.He did a great job on my nose bowl and he made me a boot cowl......excellent work!

      Air Filter fairing

I just got one from the TCraft factory in LaGrange TX for $80. I haven't installed it yet, but it looks like it will fit very nicely.
