  • Elevator Cable Replacement

Does anybody have any recomendation for removing the two elevator cable pulleys in the rear of the aircraft? My 1945 BC12D has no inspection holes in that area other than much farther aft which is too far aft to reach the pulleys. What inspection holes did Taylorcraft have in the aft fuselage originally? Were they on the bottom or side and exactly where were they located?

Does anyone have information on where the yoke position should be when setting up the elevator cables?

    Re: Elevator Cable Replacement

more inspection plates OR a larger rectangular plate . Adjust tension with wheels neutral ( level flight) . They should free fall from full up.
