  • Shock Cord Replacement

I will be changing the shock cords on my BC12-D soon. As with Most things, there is probably a right way and many wrong ways. Also there are probably Don't dos and Some must dos. Any tips or advice will be appreciated. Thanks,

      shock cord

      Frank,

Vic is 100% correct. The shock cord tool makes a hard, dangerous job safe and easy. I did mine in about 10 minutes after removing the fairings. Some guy was selling these for 80 or 90 bucks and posted same on this site.
      Best Regards

wax the cords with candle wax.
I melt mine on, they last much longer that way as the wax lubes the cords so they strentch evenly
