  • Trailing Edge Stock

Who is a good source for the trailing edge stock used on a '41?

More cleaning today. I knew the TE had a nice dent in it but didn't now about the horizontal crack about a foot away. The crack is right in the fold. I suppose that I can stop drill and then rivet a piece over the crack but if it is cheap enough and findable then I may just replace the piece. Approximate dimensions are 1 3/8" wide, 9/16" tall at the rib, and 91" long.

The good news is that the more I clean the ribs the better they look. I am using a green scotchbrite pad and MEK and a lot of scrubbing.

Me too, ACS sells some that fit well. I have a few sets of old ones in good shape if you want to go back with the originals.

Flying is easy- to go up you pull back, to go down you pull back a little farther.
