Approved props for C85 STC

Hello all,

I am finalizing plans to make an offer on a ‘46 BC12D. It has Terry Bowden’s STC SA1-210 to install a C85-12F. The airplane TCDS is a BCS12-D.

Unfortunately, the seller lost the STC instructions and did not include them when filing the 337. Therefore, I am unable to confirm that the propeller currently installed is approved. The propeller is a metal McCauley 1B90 71/42 Klip Tip.

I’ve reached out to Terry but haven’t had a reply and am hoping to be able to make an offer today or tomorrow. Any/all help in confirming acceptable propellers is appreciated.
