  • Ye Olde parts search.

    Hello all,
I am replacing my engine and while I'm doing an inside project, I want to fix some niggling things that don't get any better with time. I need to find a door handle for my starboard door. I will take some pictures and add to this thread if helpful. Also, does anyone have copies of the patterns for baffles using the A65-8? Mine are pretty ragged. Does anyone know a good source for a replacement cabin heat box? And last but not least..the trim pulley. Mine has some chips in it (out of it?) and I need to know if there is a special pulley or if you just cut a notch into a normal phenolic pulley to drive the jack screw?

    That's all I want Santa...I've been a good boy....

    Thank You

    Chris,

Baffles - A65-8 for enclosed cowl.

Yes, I have patterns for all of the baffles and have drawings of most of them. I am developing the data to obtain FAA-PMA approval on them. I am not willing to part with my patterns, but can make you some or all of the parts. Which baffles do you need? We have sold 2 sets of the front baffles, intercylinder baffles, and intercylinder baffle brackets, and other misc parts. Since these are not PMA approved yet, they are sold as unfinished. You'll need to drill and fit them yourself for them to become approved as "owner produced parts". Send me your email address and I will send some photos.

I installed some of Terry's handy work and they fit real nice.

Ron Coleman was nice enough to loan me his buck to make the back righthand vertical baffle wall. It needs a few mods before I can hammer out a new rear baffle. I'll make extras if needed.
