  • x-wind for bc12d

Ok guys, how much x-wind can a BC12D handle? That is if someone know what they are doing.. What your thoughts.

    Thanks

Do a search on the forum for it.

Forrest answered that question a couple of years ago you should be able to find it.

No matter what the book says, it all simply depends on the pilot and type of wind/location. 20mph wind in the Midwestern flat states is much different then 20mph wind in eastern Kentucky. Ask Forrest if her remembers how much crosswind a 170 can land in.....he witnessed me landing at his place once in a 170 with a cross wind nearly 3 times what the book says it will handle. Not something I would like to repeat.

I think that I can land in nearly any crosswind.

Its using the plane again that's the issue :-)

Lol, I flew the 170 home again that eve. It's a wonder I did't wreck it.
