    Re: Hydraulic Brakes for N96872

Terry, how are the axels being addressed?

I know that this question was addressed to Terry and I don't mean to reply out of turn, but I thought I might post a couple of pictures that might help explain. These are from Chuck's 337. They show the kit that you get from Grove includes a new axle that slips over the tapered axle.
Also attached is a sketch from a 337 that predates the Grove kit but still basically does the same thing. To help illustrate what goes on.

Thanks Tim! Looks like a good alternative. I have the same type adapters for my skiis.

Hi John a thing or two about the grove adapters they are a snug fit on the axle also they use the out side bearing race as a support as you pull them on with the bolts they contact the out side race on the axle and use it to support the outer end of the adapter.Very well made and fit grate.

Thanks Chuck! Sounds like a good setup. IF I ever get to work on mine, I'll maybe go that direction.
