Tribe- I ran across what I believe to be a 1937 Taylor Young today for sale. It is not advertised and I got a chance to look it over really good. The wing ribs are all in pretty good shape except for the nose area where there is significant corrosion. The fuse looks good, everything appears to be there. A lycoming 55 hp engine and mount goes with it along with the original Taylorcraft tailwheel in good condtion. I understand the paperwork to be missing some of the chain of ownership- this is usually something that can be taken care of. I think the fellow would take $3000 for it as is. The gear and struts are included, the boot cowl is there and the upper and lower cowl looks ok. This would be a good chance to restore a true antique- If you are interested I will pass along the fellows number.
