Body Support Tubes

In reviewing the old factory brochure, there appear to be a number of support tubes from the frame to the fiberglass body ribs behind the baggage compartment. When I stripped the body off mine, there were no tubes. Can you builders enlighten me with some info on this and perhaps a few pics if yours does have the tubes. I'll have the two shells finished around the end of May and hopefully back on the carcass.
