  • tubing size.

I have a BC12d that has a bent tube (goes from top left engine mount to left front wing spar attach fitting) in the firewall, no other involved structures have been found so far. The plan is to heat the tube bent it and then sleeve it. I am trying to find a drawing that shows tubing size for the whole fuselage, so I can order the right sleeve. It would also be great if I could find a drawing that has all the measurements for the joints in the firewall.

      Re: tubing size.

This is the available info => http://www.taylorcraft.org/docs/fuse...dimensions.pdf

Has only the "horizontal" dimension to the joint, which will help. Does not have b-1501 length.

Use an ultrasonic device to get the wall thickness or drill a hole an measure or guess .035".

For a sleeve you have to make the wall bigger so use .049" to make the sleeve.

On a Taylorcraft drawing it shows what I assume is a tubing code of t-3-a anyone have a break down of those numbers if not ill just take the OD and. Tube it with 0.049
