Hi Kevin,

Good luck quitting smoking and restoring your new bird. I have N3679T, S/N F-077. Can't say we've been getting along all that well since I bought her in December 2004, but some of that is due to my continued struggle with tailwheel flying. Like the last post wrote, you do seem to be a good guy, we all would love to see you hang around on the planet for as long as possible. For everyone who loves Taylorcrafts, you show it in the way you write about them.

wow lucky find put her in the air but i was just wondering if i could use some pics of the insides to see how it should all go back to gether i have the f-19 windows in the back but i dont have to side wall panels need some pics to see how i want to lay out the inside

I don't want to contaminate this thread but did want to let you know I went flying this a.m. with DJ. He was kind enough to offer this Iowan wintering in Arizona the opportunity to get in the air again and fly his Taylorcraft. DJ, I really appreciated it, thanks so much.

This is the kind of fellowship I have experienced with the Taylorcraft group. Since mine went down for a rebuild in November of '06, I've only flown twice, once in Joel Severinghaus' award winning T-craft while at Brodhead and DJ today. Thanks guys.

I can't personally speak for DJ but isn't that what the group is supposed to be about. It's too bad we can get the entire world to join this group and catch the same fever of friendship that we all seem to share.

As for your question. I need to clean a bunch of parts out back there so I can get some good pics but I will take some as I start putting the panels back in place and post them for you or email them to ya.

Kevin,well done on the find , see,,,,theres still pearl's out there! Ta hell with da fabric looks like its all good I'd do a 100 hour and fly ,,,it's an 0200 right?
P.S. be sure and use copious portions of Marvel Mystery oil....

Great find! Get her flying!

If you get a chance, shoot me a couple of pictures of how the rear window plexiglass is held into the window frames. I'm still confused by the lack of detail on the Harer model 19 STC.

My Dad was smoke free for several years but he suffocated when his lungs would not accept oxigen anymore at age 77, 13 days before his 78th birthday.
