I was wondering if anyone knows how the F21A fuel tanks were vented when the ships came out of the factory. I know how to vent them if the factory design is unknown but would like to complete them as originally assembled. In the picture of the right wing the far-left top tube nozzle is the vent location which ties both wing tanks together (tubing run from the left tank to an aluminum tube across the cabin roof to the rt wing). From there I believe the vent is run up to the wing thru a fitting, but did it have the typical curved tube protruding from the wing top, or did they just curl up a hose and set it atop the tank with a drain?
I think the design would be the same on all the Ferris aircraft produced.
