  • C85 Main oil seal installation

    Well tribe,
The 85-12 with the NEW MILLENIMUM CYLINDERS and the 0200
STROKER KIT is now back together except for the main oil seal.
I have already managed to destory one seal trying to get the damned thing in!!! It's the right part# but this bad boy doesn't want to go into the case. I've used some light weight grease but this doesn't seem to help. the seal wants to roll up on one side. I've tried to make sure that the seal is even all of the way around the case but it keeps popping out at the split. I am using screwdrivers around the seal to keep the force even but the seal wants to roll and gets hung up on the edge of the case. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks a bunch:
    Best Regards

    off subject

Paul, I just returned from Edmond. Sorry I didn't get a chance to call and visit. The tourney went very fast and I didn't get as much time between matches as I normally do. I was really looking forward to meeting you and seeing your "baby". I've kept your number in case I'm back down your way. Hope you went flying, it looked like a really nice day, from what I got to see of it.

Paul- Wait for me to stop by and I will put it in. No problem- you just have to hold your mouth right! (and lightly chamfer the lead in, and use the right gorilla snot) Don't forget about the spring!

Flying is easy- to go up you pull back, to go down you pull back a little farther.
