  • Baffeling question

    Well tribe,
N39203 now has the new engine mounted and the fuel lines are connected. Just found out this pm that since the conversion to the 85HP with the longer engine mount, all of my engine control cables are too short!! That, however, pales in comparasion to my lack of understanding of the baffeling. I have, what appears to be new baffeling and the rear and right side seem to fit almost perfect. The left side, however, seems to be not quite wide enough. Can someone tell me how close the baffeling is supposed to be to the actual cylinders and if there is somewhere that I can get a drawing of what the baffeling is supposed to look like on engine.

    Thanks much
    Best Regards

    Baffles

    Paul,

May be able to help you having changed my 65 for an 85 about 10 months ago. I think I've got some photographs of the baffles, but if not I'll get some after Christmas.

Contact me off list at [email protected] and we can discuss the problems.
