What happened to STC SA650AL for installing a Lyc O-290-D2? Was it a one-time STC (Alsworth mod?) that was replicated then deleted by the FAA (a rumor), or was it withdrawn by the holder?
My previous Taylorcraft (29694) had it done years ago as apparently have several others. There's another one in Fairbanks (brown F-19) that's sat for years unmoved periodically experiencing flat tires, stretched bungees, and snow-loaded wings.
