The Reid clip wing cub was rebuilt in pittsburgh a few years back. It was owned until last summer by a retired US Air captain who took VERY good care of it. Its in VERY nice condition inside and out. 85 hp. I THINK entire plane has around 150 hr.s on it since rebuild. Greg Dart, owner of the airport owns it now. It was for sale as of last october.

Update:

I got the CD from the FAA today for the DCO-65 I used to fly. Here is what it had for the clipped wing conversion.

Under STC 275 SW wings were shortened, metal spars were installed, ailerons were shortened and plywood end plates with position lights were installed on the wing tips. Wings and ailerons had been stripped of fabric covering by others.

Wings and ailerons were inspected, minor repairs and adjustments were made and all metal was protected with Zinc Chromate. All surfaces were covered with Stits poly fiber aircraft covering process in accordance with STC 1008 WE.

New end plates were fabricated from 3/16 Lexan plastic.

Is this the Swick STC? I didn't think it applied to this airframe.

As I understand it you said that you flew the clipped wing L-2 in northern Oregon and that the owner passed away. I think that the plane that you flew may have belonged to my father. We are in the process of selling it right now if you are interested. It now has a C-85-12f engine in it.
I may be able to find some information in his records if you are still needing it.

I know this is digging up bones but to add to what vasey fan said three years back....that clipwing he mentioned rolled into my hanger last Sunday(7/1/2012)! It was owned by Michael and Karen Roberts in 1993 and had some paint and recover work done by Miller Enterprises in '93. I would like to correspond with the Roberts about their aerobatic experience with this plane. Does anyone know them?
